iSkysoft Toolbox for Android 6.0
Old versionsSee all
iSkysoft Toolbox for Android is a suite of utilities that let you run some maintenance tasks on your portable devices. Luckily, the developers have made all these utilities available from a single dashboard; otherwise, you would need to run them as separate programs. The interface is modern and straightforward and most of the tasks are done with the help of wizards, which means that you can start using it right away after installation.
The set allows connecting to your Android device and manage some important processes. It is organized as modules, which work quite separately one from the other. There is a Recovery module that scans your device’s memory and allows retrieving lost data, not only files, such as photos, music or notes, but contacts as well. Likewise, the Transfer module is intended to transfer data from your phone to your computer or vice versa. However, if you need to copy data from one phone to another, you would have to use the Switch module. Something that can come in very handy is the Backup&Restore module, which allows performing backups of the selected data and even WhatsApp chats. Finally, there is another module that wipes information from a phone, a quite important task if you are planning to re-sell or give away your old device. In all cases, it is important to verify that your device is properly connected to your computer, which sometimes requires enabling USB debugging on your phone or tablet.
To conclude, iSkysoft Toolbox for Android is a comprehensive set of tools to do practically any maintenance task of your Android devices. Unfortunately, the program seems quite unstable as it repeatedly crashed during testing. Therefore, I do not recommend using this product. However, I will not discourage you from giving it a try, which will not cost you a cent. Buying the whole product may save you from money compared with buying the utilities individually, which is also possible
- A comprehensive set of maintenance tools
- Straightforward and modern interface
